Yesterday I searched for ‘Glimmer+game’ on Google and saw to my surprise a huge number of hits. All the hits led to smaller websites and blogs where my game can now be played and downloaded. Bigfish has really done a great job getting my game everywhere they can!
It took us almost a year to develop, but there it is: our first game on a major portal called Bigfishgames.com!
Designing, building and tweaking the game and then getting it published and bug-free was a huge effort, but we finally pulled it off.

The game:
Glimmer is a casual match-3 game with an interesting storyline.
In contrast to the classic match-3 game though it has some cool new mechanics:
- Tile movement: instead of swapping just two tiles, in Glimmer swap entire rows, move rows horizontally and vertically, and rotate tiles around one-another in a circle.
- Move a character: by matching tiles, you collect resources, but also make your character move across the world.
- Defeat monsters along the way: by making matches in monster-levels you either help the monster or yourself, so you have to think twice before you make a move!
