Audrey flies from New York to visit her friend Karen, who is turning the old house on the hill into a haunted-house attraction. But nobody is there to welcome her. Find the hidden objects, crack the locks and puzzles, and follow the trail from the butler's cottage through the mansion, the sewers and the boathouse to the lighthouse.

How to play
Excursions of Evil is a hidden object adventure. Audrey has flown from New York to visit her friend Karen, who is turning the old house on the hill into a haunted-house attraction. But when Audrey arrives, nobody is there to welcome her.
Explore each location by tapping or clicking on it. In the hidden object scenes you search a cluttered room for the objects on your list; finding them all earns the item you need to move on. Along the way, locked doors, boxes and machines hide puzzles and mini-games. Solve them to follow the trail from the butler's cottage through the mansion, the sewers and the boathouse to the lighthouse.
Tips
- Objects can hide in plain sight: check edges, shadows and the backgrounds of a scene, not just the clutter in front.
- Look at the shape of an object rather than its colour; many are tinted to blend in.
- If you're stuck, go back to places you've already visited: a new item often opens something there.
- Take your time in the puzzles: there's no clock, and a fresh look often shows the solution.

The butler's cottage, the house on the hill and the tunnels beneath it are free to play for everyone: 10 hidden object scenes and 8 puzzles. Members continue to the boathouse and the lighthouse, without ads, with their progress saved on all their devices. About the membership

The game was made for computers and phones; this browser version uses its touch-friendly layout, so it plays well on a tablet or phone as well as with a mouse.
